Anesthesiology Basic Sci Research
The Bruchas Lab in the Division of Basic Research within the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine invites applications for a research-track junior faculty position at the level of Instructor. The ideal candidate has five or more years of post-graduate training in neuroscience. Expertise in opioids, pharmacology, optogenetics, feeding circuits, and reward neurobiology are critical. Successful candidates will have a strong publication history and be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully compete for external funding. Proficiency in fiber photometry, optogenetics, chemogenetics, viral mapping, biochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and behavioral pharmacology are prerequisites.
