Assistant/Associate Head and Neck Pathologist
The Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking an AP board certified and fellowship-trained Head and Neck Pathologist to join our growing surgical pathology service. Experience in another subspecialty (surgical pathology or cytology) and/or research is desirable. The head and neck pathologist will work closely with our ENT surgeons and medical oncology colleagues and will be responsible for sign out of ENT surgical resections, biopsies, consults and share coverage of the frozen section service.
The Department currently receives approximately 70,000 non-cytology surgical pathology specimens per year. The ENT service is a high-volume subspecialty and runs an accredited Head and Neck pathology fellowship program. Washington University provides a supportive environment for research opportunities and teaching.
