The Diabetes Research Center and the Departments of Cell Biology and Physiology and Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis seek outstanding applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.  Areas of research considered to be a priority are the cell biology of diabetes and related metabolic disorders, including (but not limited to) hormone secretion and action, cellular bioenergetics, and cell-cell communication. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain an active, externally financed research program. A competitive salary and startup package will be provided.

Qualified candidates must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D. degree(s) and productive lab research experience.
