Since its beginning in 1891, Washington University School of Medicine has been committed to advancing human health throughout the world by its dedicated worldwide leaders in their fields. To date, 18 Nobel laureates have ties to the School of Medicine.

Emphasis is on general medical dermatology, with opportunity to add focus on a sub-specialty interest the candidate may possess. This is a flexible part- or full-time position.  We currently have a very busy clinical and surgical practice (50,000 visits per year), at several locations within the region, supported by a world-class staff. This position will be at a level commensurate with experience.

Diversity and inclusiveness are core values of the School and the Division and integral to our mission.

Recognized for both world-class research and excellence in patient care, St. Louis is an ideal place to practice medicine. This position will be at a level commensurate with experience, and requires a physician interested in multidisciplinary teamwork and dedication to teaching residents and fellows in a major academic and healthcare environment.  Ranked among the top medical schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report, Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital offer a collegial environment within which to work and learn.

The area is becoming a new center for entrepreneurship and a nucleus for innovation.  The city has a patchwork of eclectic and affordable neighborhoods with outstanding nightlife, sport teams, quick commuting, and award-winning national parks and museums. Nearby are vineyards to roam (before Prohibition, Missouri was the second-largest wine producing state in the country), and endless trails for biking, hiking and walking.

Candidates will be joining the group of fifteen general dermatologists, two full-time dermatologic surgeons, three dermatopathologists and a large training program consisting of 19 residents.  A competitive compensation and incentive package will be offered to the successful candidate.
