Associate Director of Professional Curriculum in the Education Division
The Program in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis invites nominations and applications for the role of Associate Director in the Education Division. Appointment would be at the Associate or Full professor level, commensurate with experience. We seek an innovative educator who has experience with curriculum design, educational scholarship and digital education to lead our Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum.
- DPT degree required, licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Missouri
- PhD or equivalent degree preferred
- Record of educational leadership and scholarship within physical therapy; experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives
- Student-centered with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse students and colleagues; success in creating inclusive classrooms
- Demonstrates integrity, creativity, commitment, decisiveness, humility, and a sense of humor
Teaching and research expectations will be appropriate to permit adequate time for leadership of the DPT curriculum, to include admissions, curriculum development and delivery, student affairs, succession planning for teaching needs, and interprofessional education. Potential for collaboration and secondary appointment with other departments is high.
