Physician Scientist
The Division of Dermatology is seeking a full-time, board-certified dermatologist holding an MD and/or MD/PhD degree with additional postdoctoral scientific training who has demonstrated competency in clinical and/or bench investigation to develop a strong, collaborative research program. Emphasis on cutaneous biology research that builds upon WUSM Divisional, Departmental and institutional strengths is preferred through integration with the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences (DBBS; http://dbbs.wustl.edu.) As a new faculty member, successful applicants will be expected to establish an innovative, independent research program that will attract and maintain extramural funding from governmental agencies, private foundations, and industry. Additional responsibilities will include clinical activity in the Center for Advanced Medicine, as well as teaching and participation as an active member of the DBBS graduate programs based on his/her research focus. This position will be at a level commensurate with experience, and requires a physician interested and dedicated to research and teaching of graduate students and postdocs in a major academic and healthcare environment.
